Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled Backend Engineer to join our team and help us build scalable backend services.

You will work closely with engineering and product teams to design, develop, and maintain core backend systems.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Node.js with frameworks like Fastify and Express.

Work within a monorepo architecture to ensure scalable codebases.

Implement CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes.

Containerize and orchestrate services with Docker and Kubernetes.

Deploy and maintain infrastructure on cloud platforms.

Write well-documented APIs and test them using Postman and automated tools.

Conduct load and performance testing to ensure system reliability under scale.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

Ensure backend systems follow best practices for security, scalability, and maintainability.

Requirements

Strong experience with Node.js, Typescript, and its ecosystem.

Experience working with monorepo setups.

Proficiency in CI/CD workflows and tools.

Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes in production environments.

Cloud experience with AWS and/or GCP services.

Experience with AI frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, MCP.

Familiarity with API testing and load testing tools.

Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, authentication, and authorization mechanisms.

Solid knowledge of databases and ORMs.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Good communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.

Bonus Requirements

Familiarity with microservices architecture.

Exposure to observability tools.

Knowledge of DevOps practices and infrastructure as code.

Experience with Python and FastAPI.
