Plumbing & Firefighting Draftsman Position

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Plumbing & Firefighting Draftsman to join our dynamic team. The candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed and accurate drawings for plumbing and fire protection systems, ensuring design compliance and coordination across project stakeholders.

This role involves working on various tasks including:

  • Preparation of layout and detailed drawings for toilet layouts, water supply and drainage systems, water supply schematic diagrams, drainage schematic diagrams, WTP (Water Treatment Plant), STP (Sewage Treatment Plant), ETP (Effluent Treatment Plant), and RO (Reverse Osmosis) system diagrams, plant room layouts, tank and puddle flange details, external services for stormwater and sewage.
  • Creation of layout and detailed drawings for sprinkler, hydrant, and fire extinguisher systems, internal and external hydrant systems, fire protection schematic diagrams, fire system submission drawings, fire plant room piping layouts, puddle flange layouts.
Requirements
  • A diploma or certification in Draftsmanship or a relevant technical field is required.
  • The ideal candidate will have 5-15 years of experience in MEP drafting, specifically in Plumbing and Firefighting systems.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and related drafting tools is essential.
  • A good understanding of building codes and plumbing/fire safety standards is necessary.
  • The ability to interpret and work from architectural and engineering drawings is crucial.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy is required for this role.
