Job Title:
MEP Draftsman - Plumbing and Fire Protection Systems Specialist

Position Overview:

The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of plumbing and fire protection systems, including design compliance and coordination across project stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Prepare detailed drawings for toilet layouts, water supply and drainage systems, water supply schematic diagrams, drainage schematic diagrams, WTP (Water Treatment Plant), STP (Sewage Treatment Plant), ETP (Effluent Treatment Plant), and RO (Reverse Osmosis) system diagrams, plant room layouts, tank and puddle flange details, and external services for stormwater and sewage.
  2. Develop layout and detailed drawings for sprinkler, hydrant, and fire extinguisher systems, internal and external hydrant systems, fire protection schematic diagrams, fire system submission drawings, fire plant room piping layouts, and puddle flange layouts.
Requirements:
  1. Relevant technical degree or certification in Draftsmanship or a related field.
  2. 5-15 years of experience in MEP drafting, specifically in Plumbing and Firefighting systems.
  3. Proficiency in AutoCAD and related drafting tools.
  4. Good understanding of building codes and plumbing/fire safety standards.
  5. Ability to interpret and work from architectural and engineering drawings.
  6. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
