Cloud Architectural Leader

Job Summary:

The Cloud Architectural Leader will oversee the development and implementation of scalable, secure, and compliant cloud-native systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a clear cloud vision to drive business growth and operational efficiency
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define priorities and resolve challenges
  • Design end-to-end data pipelines leveraging AWS services such as S3, Glue, Redshift, Athena, EMR, Kinesis, DynamoDB, and SageMaker
  • Implement data product storage, processing, and APIs using AWS-native tools and serverless architectures
  • Utilize AWS Lake Formation for fine-grained access control and secure data sharing across domains
  • Architect multi-tenant, domain-oriented data lakes and integrate with Redshift Spectrum / Athena for distributed querying
  • Apply Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, AWS CDK) for provisioning and managing cloud resources
  • Drive platform governance, ensuring compliance with security and operational standards
  • Provide mentorship and technical guidance to engineering teams
  • Mentor team members on secure coding practices, compliance, and architectural principles
  • Lead design reviews and technical discussions to ensure secure and scalable implementations

Requirements:

  • 12+ years of experience in cloud architecture, data engineering, or solution architecture
  • Strong expertise in building scalable, secure, and compliant cloud-native platforms
  • Proven track record in designing and managing multi-tenant systems on AWS
  • Hands-on experience with AWS cloud, Big data and Analytics ecosystem (Airflow, Spark, Python, Flink, AWS Batch, S3, Athena, ECS-Fargate, SQS)
  • Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or Scala
  • Advanced skills in Terraform (IaC)
  • Proficiency with SQL and NoSQL databases
  • Strong CI/CD experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI/CD
