Cloud Solution Strategist Position

This is a pivotal role in establishing and leading the development of a Cloud Center of Excellence (COE) environment leveraging AWS technologies. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and deploying cloud solutions using various cloud services and platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoots and resolves AWS service issues across development, testing, and production environments
  • Designing, building, and deploying cloud solutions using various cloud services and platforms (AWS)
  • Providing guidance and technical expertise on cloud adoption, migration, and optimization
  • Develop scripts to automate systems administration and monitoring activities

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • AWS Cloud Practitioner certification, AWS SysOps Administrator Certification, or equivalent AWS Cloud Engineering/Architecture experience
  • 3+ years of AWS administration experience, including API Gateway, S3, ECS, EKS, Fargate, EC2, Lambda, WAF, and CloudTrail

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with Atlassian (Gerrit, Confluence, Artifactory, Jenkins) and other DevOps tools
  • Strong working knowledge of local and wide area networking technologies

Leadership and Communication Skills:

The position will report to the Senior Director, IT but will work closely with DevOps and other departments to promote higher uptimes, better user experience, and develop future improvements to the overall cloud environment.
