About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced leader to join our team as a senior director of infrastructure engineering. In this role, you will lead a high-performing team of engineers who are responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our global infrastructure systems.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of our global infrastructure systems.
- Oversee the deployment of new technologies and ensure seamless integration with existing systems.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve system efficiency, scalability, and reliability.
- Maintain close relationships with business stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure that our infrastructure systems meet their requirements.
- Manage a team of engineers and provide guidance, support, and development opportunities to help them grow in their careers.
- Collaborate with other teams to identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to enhance overall efficiency and productivity.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation to ensure knowledge sharing and transfer within the team.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 20 years of experience in infrastructure engineering, with a focus on compute and storage technologies, operating systems, database, middleware, cloud, container, and network services.
- At least 10 years of experience in the banking and financial services industry.
- 15+ years of experience in managing global teams and delivering technology service solutions.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or computer science and/or equivalent military experience.
- Demonstrated expertise in ITSM, SRE, Automation, and Telemetry/AI Ops.
- Experience setting up and managing command center for triaging and quickly restoring services.
- Strong hold on Change Success and Proactive Problem Management.
