Data Engineering Expert - Cloud Based

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our team.

  • Design and implement scalable data pipelines using cloud services (e.g., Cloud Dataflow, Cloud Composer/Airflow, Pub/Sub).
  • Develop and maintain ETL/ELT processes for ingesting, transforming, and loading data into Snowflake.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data models, ensuring data integrity and compliance with regulations.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in data engineering, applying new skills and knowledge to improve existing processes.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud-based data engineering, with expertise in GCP services and Snowflake data warehousing.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Implement cloud-based data pipelines using GCP services.
  2. Maintain ETL/ELT processes for ingesting, transforming, and loading data into Snowflake.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data models.
  4. Apply new skills and knowledge to improve existing processes.

Requirements:

  • 4-8 years of experience in data engineering, with a focus on cloud-based platforms.
  • Strong expertise in GCP services, including BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataflow, Cloud Composer, and Pub/Sub.
  • Proficiency in Snowflake data warehousing, including SQL, Snowpipe, Streams, and data sharing.
  • Experience with programming languages such as Python or Java.
  • Knowledge of data security, privacy, and compliance regulations.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

The selected candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines using cloud services.

Additionally, the candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity and compliance with regulations.

The role requires strong expertise in GCP services, proficiency in Snowflake data warehousing, and experience with programming languages.
