Job Overview

A key role exists for a seasoned data engineering professional to design and implement large-scale data processing systems on Microsoft Azure.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop scalable data ingestion pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Azure Blob Storage.
  • Design and maintain PySpark applications for efficient data processing and analytics.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data engineering solutions with business applications.
  • Optimize data processing workloads for performance, scalability, and efficiency.
  • Maintain high-quality code adhering to industry standards and best practices.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering with a focus on cloud-based platforms particularly Azure.
  • Expertise in Azure Data Factory Azure Blob Storage and PySpark.
  • Strong understanding of data processing patterns architectures and algorithms.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop creative solutions.
  • Experience working with Agile methodologies and version control systems like Git.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in Azure or AWS cloud platforms.
  • Experience with machine learning and deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch.
  • Familiarity with containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.
