Job Opportunity
A Cloud Infrastructure Specialist is required to drive efficiency in our cloud-based infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and optimize cloud costs across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Analyze daily/weekly usage patterns, billing reports, and identify anomalies.
- Develop and maintain scripts for cost reporting, resource clean-up, and efficiency improvements.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to right-size compute, storage, and database resources.
- Implement reserved instances, savings plans, auto-scaling policies, and storage lifecycle policies to reduce spend.
- Leverage native tools like AWS Cost Explorer, CloudWatch, GCP Billing, as well as third-party monitoring platforms.
- Contribute to SRE/DevOps practices by ensuring infrastructure reliability while balancing costs.
Requirements:
- Strong experience with AWS and/or GCP services.
- Expertise in cloud cost analysis and optimization.
- Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python, Bash, Shell, etc.).
- Understanding of SRE concepts: reliability, scalability, monitoring, and automation.
- Prior experience in cost optimization for enterprise workloads.
About the Role:
This role will be responsible for maintaining our cloud infrastructure's operational efficiency.
We're Looking For Someone Who:
- Has hands-on experience with cloud cost optimization.
- Is proficient in script writing and maintenance.
- Can analyze complex data and implement solutions.
