Senior Design Director Position

About the Opportunity:

  • Collaborate with design teams to develop architectural designs for complex projects.
  • Refine selected design options into schematic and final designs, including drawings and reports.
  • Cross-coordinate design requirements across disciplines for high-complexity projects.
  • Work with stakeholders to implement design value engineering on high-complexity projects.
  • Review and validate design deliverables with clients and authorities.
  • Develop tender documents, including specifications, Bills of Quantities, and Conditions of Contract.
  • Support project teams in reviewing design deliverables and issuing checking reports.
  • Manage project resources and schedules.
  • Oversee project contractual risks and external suppliers.
  • Maintain project budgets and schedules.
  • Implement quality control policies and procedures.
  • Conduct peer reviews on team members' deliverables.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Architecture.
  • Master's Degree in Architecture or a related field is preferred.
  • 10+ years of industry experience in architectural design.
  • Strong experience in developing architectural designs for large and complex projects.
  • In-depth knowledge and track record in architectural design.
  • Understanding of international engineering standards and codes.
  • Exposure to global best practices and trends in architectural design.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven leadership, problem-solving, and attention to detail.

Software Expertise:

  • Revit Architecture.
  • BIM 360.
  • AutoCAD.
  • MS Office.
