Job Description

This is a high-level leadership role within our organization responsible for driving the strategic direction of hardware design across various product lines. The Chief Hardware Design Strategist will be accountable for developing and implementing hardware design strategies that align with business objectives and market requirements.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in electronic hardware design, as well as proven experience in managing multi-disciplinary engineering teams. They will possess excellent leadership skills, with the ability to drive innovation in design processes, tools, and methodologies.

This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including firmware development, mechanical engineering, and manufacturing. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining long-term vision and strategy for hardware design, ensuring alignment with business goals and market requirements.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of power electronics, schematic capture, PCB design tools, and hardware simulation. Understanding of manufacturing processes, DFM/DFT principles. Familiarity with EMI/EMC compliance, thermal management, and reliability Testing.
  • Leadership: Proven experience in managing multi-disciplinary engineering teams. Excellent leadership skills with ability to drive innovation in design processes, tools, and methodologies.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams, including firmware development, mechanical engineering, and manufacturing.
