Job Title: Corporate Origination Lead

This is a challenging opportunity to spearhead corporate origination and build a sustainable corporate banking portfolio in India.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify, segment and develop target corporate clients to drive business growth and profitability.
  • Establish strong relationships with decision-makers to originate new business opportunities and meet financial targets.
  • Review and manage the portfolio effectively, ensuring timely delivery of required services and maintaining a satisfactory rating on portfolio quality and credit management processes.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance business performance, while containing risk to an acceptable level.
  • Manage the day-to-day tasks of the Unit, providing guidance and support to the team to achieve business objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient delivery of corporate banking products and solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with market trends, regulatory requirements and industry developments.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory obligations pertaining to corporate banking in India.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the Relationship Management and Credit Support team.
Requirements:
  • Strong grounding in corporate relationship management with a track record of handling large and mid-sized clients.
  • Complete knowledge of bank's credit policy, operating systems and local regulations.
  • Strong credit knowledge, marketing skills and excellent communication skills are mandatory.
  • Knowledge of regulatory framework in India, including RBI guidelines for corporate banking.
  • Awareness of various banking products/services, particularly trade finance, derivatives and foreign exchange.
  • Proven leadership qualities, strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively in a cross-cultural environment.
  • CA/MBA preferred with minimum 10-15 years of corporate relationship management experience.
