**Job Description:**

We are seeking a skilled Technical Service Representative to join our team at Waters Corporation. As a key member of our customer support team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the success of our customers by providing expert technical assistance and support for our scientific instrumentation.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Provide on-site installation, performance maintenance, troubleshooting, and support for Waters' product suite (LC, HPLC/UPLC) to ensure optimal system performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with external and internal customers through regular communication and follow-up to ensure their success and meet their expectations.
  • Manage customer expectations by clearly communicating work performed and providing follow-up plans as needed to ensure timely resolution of issues.
  • Evaluate and enforce customer compliance with regulatory requirements to prevent any potential risks or liabilities.
  • Deliver comprehensive system-level training at customer sites to ensure seamless integration and efficient use of our products.
  • Monitor and manage service inventory according to Waters' policies to optimize resource allocation and minimize waste.
  • Generate daily field service reports to document work performed and provide valuable insights into customer needs and preferences.
  • Maintain current knowledge of emerging technologies and customer application demands to stay ahead of industry trends and deliver innovative solutions.
  • Collaborate with the Sales team to identify future business development opportunities and needs for service contract sales, driving revenue growth and expanding our market presence.
  • Ensure adherence to quality system procedures and Health & Safety standards at all times, upholding the highest standards of excellence and responsibility.

**Qualifications:**

  • Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Chemistry, Biology, Engineering, or other science-related field is preferred, but equivalent experience, training, and education will also be considered.
  • At least 3 years of experience in installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, supporting, and/or utilizing scientific instrumentation, preferably with Waters' product suite (LC, HPLC/UPLC).
  • Proven ability to perform effective system-level troubleshooting and possess a deep understanding of scientific application workflows and software systems (CDS).

  • Effective time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to create clear and concise reports and documentation.

**Travel Requirements:**

  • This position involves frequent travel within your designated territory and occasional international travel for governance, local business support, meetings, and training.

**Estimated Salary Range:** $70,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
