Job Description: Digital Content StrategistThis role involves understanding student-users, institutional partners, developing and overseeing content strategies across verticals, and analyzing content performance to ensure continuous improvement.
Responsibilities include:
- Building a clear understanding of different market segments, student-users personas, university-types, and education loan providers' unique selling propositions (USPs).
- Understanding brand positions, program offerings, and value propositions of partner universities.
- Staying updated on trends in content, platforms, and usage patterns of our users.
The ideal candidate will collaborate with business heads and account managers to understand business goals that need to be driven by content, build customized strategies for different user-types and university partners, create execution plans, and calendars for content production aligned with strategies and business goals.
The successful candidate will also conduct continuous analysis of outcomes achieved from published content, make changes to optimize campaigns, and ensure brand consistency and evolve brand guidelines as required.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's in English/Journalism or Master's in Journalism/Mass Communication/Digital Marketing or related fields preferred but not mandatory.
- 6-7 years of experience in Digital Content Marketing, Email Marketing, PR/ preferably in higher education/social sector/startups.
Skills and Qualities:
- Storytelling ability and deep understanding of creating content that resonates with target audiences.
- Familiarity with marketing automation tools to streamline marketing processes and improve efficiency.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong attention to detail, and ability to write in different styles and tones.
- Familiarity with video editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or iMovie to create engaging video content.
- Able to work collaboratively with teams from multiple functions.
- Proficient in tracking schedules, performance, and project progress.
- Familiarity with analytics tools such as Google Analytics, SEMrush, Moz, and Advanced Excel skills to measure and optimize content performance.

The estimated salary range for this position is ₹800,000 - ₹1,200,000 per annum, based on industry standards and qualifications.
