Business Intelligence Analyst Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team at Amazon. As a key member of the Trustworthy Shopping Experience Operations Analytics Team, you will play a vital role in driving business outcomes through data-driven insights.

  • Transform complex data into actionable business information and make it accessible to stakeholders worldwide.
  • Use data to support ideas, drive outcomes, and provide unique ways to present data and information in an easy-to-consume format.
  • Finding root causes, trends, and patterns and how they impact business.
  • Draw inferences and conclusions, create dashboards and visualizations of processed data.
  • Develop strong business and communication skills to work with product owners to understand key business questions and build reports that enable product owners to answer those questions quickly and accurately.
  • Juggle competing priorities and handle ambiguity.
A Day in the Life

You will be responsible for developing analytic solutions to drive deep dives, provide insights into the health and state of the Operations, and measure business impact. You will own the design, creation, and management of extremely large datasets. From day one, you will be challenged with a variety of tasks, ranging from creating datasets, reports, dashboards to metadata modeling, pipeline monitoring.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have 2+ years of experience in tax, finance, or a related analytical field. Strong technical skills in Excel VBA macros writing, SQL, and ETL are essential. A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, engineering, analytics, mathematics, statistics, or a related technical or quantitative field is required.
