Senior Accountant Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for managing our day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and supporting our treasury, audits, and management information systems (MIS) for informed decision-making.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a leading EV leasing and lifecycle management company with exposure to complex financing structures, investor reporting, and compliance frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the adoption and transition from Indian Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) to Ind AS
  • Oversee day-to-day accounting activities, including cash flow forecasting and working capital planning
  • Ensure timely filing of Goods and Services Tax (GST) returns, tax deducted at source (TDS), and income tax
  • Liaise with statutory, internal, and tax auditors to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements
  • Prepare schedules and reconciliations for audits, as well as handle assessments, notices, and queries from regulators
  • Implement process improvements in accounting and reporting to enhance efficiency and accuracy
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Education: Chartered Accountant (CA), Cost Management Accountant (CMA), Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance, or Master of Commerce (M.Com)
  • Experience: 5-6 years in accounting and finance, preferably in leasing, non-banking financial companies (NBFCs), or asset financing sectors
  • Strong knowledge of Ind AS 116 (Leases), Ind AS 102 (Employee Stock Option Plans), GST, TDS, and Income Tax recent regulations and accounting judgments
  • Exposure to Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, such as Zoho and Lease Management Software
