Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Team Leader to oversee a team of analysts supporting commercial real estate lending operations. This role will manage day-to-day delivery, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and collaborate with international stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Management & Delivery: Lead and mentor analysts processing loan applications, credit documentation, and portfolio management.
  • Ensure delivery in line with SLAs/KPIs with high accuracy.
  • Track, review, and report team performance; conduct regular feedback and coaching.
  • Operational Excellence: Enforce adherence to lending policies and standards.
  • Review and approve credit papers/documentation prior to submission.
  • Support the use of front-end systems to monitor loan applications.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the single point of contact for client stakeholders.
  • Manage escalations, provide operational updates, and lead process alignment discussions.
  • Facilitate transparent communication between teams.
  • Compliance & Risk: Oversee collaboration with KYC and Financial Crime teams.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations and client-specific policies.
  • Process Improvement & Reporting: Identify and implement initiatives to enhance efficiency and quality.
  • Prepare and present performance reports and insights for senior leadership.
  • Training & Development: Conduct training on lending practices, compliance, and systems.
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.

Candidate Profile:

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial lending, credit analysis, or financial services.
  • Proven experience in leading teams and working with clients.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Excellent knowledge of commercial real estate lending, credit documentation, and compliance.
  • Effective communicator with strong stakeholder management skills.
