
Oil Exploration Business Strategist

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Lead to spearhead our growth initiatives in the petrochemicals and oil exploration sectors.
This role offers a unique opportunity to leverage your expertise in strategic planning, deal-making, and stakeholder management to drive business expansion and profitability.
The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of upstream oil and gas operations, including rig operations, as well as a strong global network in the petrochemical space. They should also have excellent negotiation, leadership, and communication skills.
A minimum of 15 years of experience in business development, M&A, or strategy within the petrochemicals/oil & gas sector is required. A proven track record of deal-making, especially with international assets or companies, is essential.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the business development function, identifying acquisition opportunities, and driving M&A strategies end-to-end. They will also collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to execute deals smoothly and monitor market trends.
To succeed in this role, you should be able to:
- Pursue strategic acquisition opportunities and drive M&A strategies
- Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of potential acquisition targets
- Leverage existing networks and build strategic relationships with key stakeholders
- Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams to execute deals smoothly
