Job Description

The successful candidate will serve as a Career Placement Officer in our Chennai office, working on a full-time hybrid basis with some flexibility to work from home. This role involves managing campus placements, coordinating with educational institutions and industry partners, providing career counseling and training sessions, and assisting students in their career development.


Main Responsibilities

  • Corporate Partnerships & Employer Engagement:
    Develop and maintain relationships with corporate partners, HR professionals, and recruiters.
    Establish and secure Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) and partnerships with hiring companies.
    Organize HR roundtables, job fairs, and recruitment drives to increase placement opportunities.
  • Student Placement & Career Support:
    Provide guidance to students on resume building, interview preparation, and career counseling.
    Identify job opportunities that match student skill sets and industry trends.
    Monitor and report placement progress, job offers, and hiring statistics.
  • Placement Drive & Job Fair Management:
    Plan and execute on-campus and virtual placement drives.
    Coordinate job fairs, industry interaction sessions, and employer networking events.
    Achieve a minimum of 40-50 student job offers per month as per performance targets.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Business, HR, Education, or related fields.
  • 2-5 years of experience in placements, recruitment, or career services.
  • Strong professional network with employers, recruiters, and industry experts.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to plan and execute placement drives and career events.
  • Self-motivated with a target-driven approach.
