Job Title: Server Support Engineer

Job Description:

Are you a seasoned IT professional looking for a challenging role that requires expertise in server administration and infrastructure support? Do you have a strong background in Microsoft Azure services and Windows Server environments?

We are seeking a highly skilled Server Engineer to join our Infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing, supporting, and optimizing our on-premise and cloud-based (Azure) server environments to ensure high availability, performance, and security.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer, monitor, and troubleshoot Windows Server environments (2016/2019/2022).
  • Configure and manage services in Microsoft Azure (VMs, Azure AD, Networking, Storage, etc.).
  • Manage server patching, performance tuning, and routine maintenance tasks.
  • Implement and support backup and disaster recovery strategies using Azure Backup, ASR, or other tools.
  • Maintain infrastructure documentation, change management, and asset tracking.
  • Collaborate with security and network teams to maintain compliance and security standards.
  • Support Active Directory, Group Policies, DNS, DHCP, and other core infrastructure services.
  • Provide L3/L4 support for infrastructure-related incidents and escalations.
  • Participate in capacity planning, infrastructure upgrades, and cloud migration projects.
  • Work with vendors and other teams for issue resolution and implementation support.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in server administration and infrastructure support.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services.
  • Expertise in Windows Server OS, Active Directory, and related services.
  • Experience with virtualization platforms such as VMware or Hyper-V.
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, etc.).
  • Familiarity with PowerShell scripting and automation.
