Server Administrator Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Server Administrator to manage, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise level server infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with HP, Dell, IBM servers, RAID configurations, server OS installations, and firmware updates. They will also be responsible for network services, virtualization, storage solutions, and backup management to ensure seamless IT operations.

Key Responsibilities: 1. Server Management & Maintenance: Install, configure, and maintain HP, Dell, IBM servers. Perform RAID configuration and troubleshooting for optimal storage performance. Install and update server operating systems (Windows/Linux) and troubleshoot related issues. Perform server hardware troubleshooting, diagnose faults, and replace defective parts. Ensure firmware updates are applied timely and effectively.

2. Network Services & Directory Management: Manage DHCP, DNS, and Active Directory services. Configure and maintain Group Policy Objects (GPO) for security and system policies. Oversee file server management, ensuring efficient storage and access control.

3. Preventive Maintenance & Enterprise IT Support: Conduct preventive maintenance (PM) of servers and network devices to prevent failures. Provide enterprise-level IT support, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with end customers to ensure issue resolution with high customer satisfaction.

4. Virtualization & Cloud Technologies: Implement, install, configure, and upgrade VMware environments. Manage virtual machines and optimize resources for performance and reliability.

5. Linux Server Administration: Install and configure Linux servers, including Apache web servers. Manage Logical Volume Manager (LVM) and perform essential Linux command-line operations.

6. Storage & NAS Management: Configure and troubleshoot enterprise storage solutions from HP, Dell PowerVault, EMC, and NetApp. Set up and manage NAS devices (QNAP, Synology) for data storage and sharing.

7. Backup & Disaster Recovery: Implement and manage backup solutions using Veritas and Veeam. Perform backup restoration and ensure data integrity and availability. Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 2 years of experience in server administration and enterprise IT support. Hands-on experience with HP, Dell, IBM servers and RAID configurations. Strong knowledge of Windows Server & Linux administration. Experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, GPOs, and file server management. Proficiency in VMware installation, configuration, and upgrades. Experience with enterprise storage solutions and NAS management. Knowledge of backup solutions like Veritas and Veeam. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Certifications such as MCSE, RHCSA, VMware VCP, or equivalent are a plus
