Job Title: Lead Trainer_Surgery

Job Summary:

The Lead Trainer will be responsible for identifying training gaps within the team and collaborating with department training managers to develop a plan for retraining sessions. This includes monitoring trainee performance data, analyzing exam results, and presenting findings and proposed resolutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify training gaps in the team and collaborate with department training managers to develop a plan for retraining sessions.
  • Monitor trainee performance data to identify areas requiring reinforcement of training material.
  • Conduct Refresher trainings for Coders, prepare training manuals, and conduct continued education sessions as assigned.
  • Monitor and review the progress of trainees through training and provide feedback.
  • Amend and revise Coding training programs as necessary to adapt to changes in the work environment.
  • Ensure open communication and cooperative relationships with all trainees.
  • Interact weekly with management in a team call to report challenges or suggest changes in curriculum or delivery.
  • Engage in professional growth activities to enhance job-related knowledge and skill development.
  • Assist in maintaining an organized tracking system to guide all activities/tasks within the department.
  • Manage members of the training team.
  • Understand and abide by the organization's information security policy and protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of all information assets.
  • Report incidents related to security of information to concerned authorities.
