
Regional Sales Strategist

This role encompasses the sales efficiency parameters and distribution management aspects. The successful candidate will work in close collaboration with the field sales team to improve penetration percentages, bill cuts per day per route, effective calls, VPO, and VPR aligned to business objectives.
- Sales Efficiency
The ideal candidate will support the field team in identifying distribution gaps, new retailers, distributors, and vehicles, and facilitate their onboarding into the system.
- Distribution Management
A strong understanding of process infrastructure is essential for this role. The successful candidate will ensure adequate adoption of processes/tools associated with interactions between logistics, distributors, and field forces, as well as relevant infrastructural elements to support these interactions.
- Process/Infrastructure
Maintaining accurate master data is crucial. The ideal candidate will focus on continuous improvement in geo-tagging, channel bifurcation, customer master, vehicle master, and hierarchy mapping.
- Master Data Management
Analysis of sales data will provide relevant insights for operational efficiencies. The successful candidate will support the field sales team by ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
- Information/insights generation
Supporting the field team in implementing new systems/processes is key to this role. This includes distributor alignment, salesman training, relevant data collection, and issue resolution.
- New Initiatives
Key Interfaces:
External interfaces include available data sources on competition mapping and market share. Internal interfaces involve DMS/SFA system (SAMNA), reporting tools (Qlik BI, Power BI), and onboarding platforms.
Education Qualification:
Highest degree required: Full-time MBA from a reputed Management Institute
Desirable Experience:
Experience in the Beverages Industry would be an added advantage.
