  • About the Role:
    • Cybersecurity Solutions Engineer (L2) is a developing engineering role responsible for delivering expert-level technical support to clients, ensuring their security infrastructures and systems remain operational.
    • This role involves proactive monitoring, identifying, investigating, and resolving technical incidents and problems to restore service to clients.
    • The primary objective is to proactively review client requests or tickets and apply technical/process knowledge to resolve them without breaching service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Implement cybersecurity solutions within network infrastructure and ensure proper configuration.
    • Continuously monitor network traffic for anomalies and suspicious behavior.
    • Respond to alerts and incidents identified by the system, investigate root causes, and initiate appropriate actions.
    • Maintain and update cybersecurity systems, ensuring they remain effective against evolving threats.
    • Document configurations, incidents, and solutions for future reference and reporting.
    • Develop test plans and strategies for evaluating the performance and accuracy of cybersecurity systems.
    • Execute various testing methodologies, including functional, regression, and performance testing.
    • Identify and report any issues or defects in the system, working closely with the development team for resolution.
    • Validate that the system meets specified requirements and delivers accurate results.
    • Implement test automation where possible to streamline testing processes.
  • Academic Qualifications and Certifications:
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in IT/Computing (or demonstrated equivalent work experience).
    • 3+ years of experience.
    • Certification: Proposed OEM Level Certification is required.
