Job Overview:

A Security Solutions Strategist plays a pivotal role in shaping the cybersecurity landscape for clients. This individual must possess a deep understanding of security technologies and be adept at crafting tailored solutions to address customer needs.

  • Solutioning & Technical Expertise:
    • Develop comprehensive cybersecurity strategies by staying abreast of emerging threats and technologies, including SIEM, SOAR, XDR, Cloud Security, IAM/PAM, Firewalls, Endpoint Security, and Threat Intelligence.
    • Conduct Proof of Concepts (PoCs), product demos, and technical workshops to showcase innovative security solutions.
  • RFP/RFI & Proposal Management:
    • Lead technical responses to RFPs/RFIs, ensuring high-quality proposal submissions that meet client expectations.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create compelling business cases, solution architectures, and value propositions that drive sales growth.
  • Sales & Customer Engagement:
    • Engage with C-level executives, IT teams, and security stakeholders to provide strategic guidance on cybersecurity solutions.
    • Act as a trusted advisor, facilitating open dialogue between clients and internal teams to ensure seamless solution deployment.
  • Market Intelligence & Competitive Analysis:
    • Analyze competitor offerings and industry trends to refine presales strategies and identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
    • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to enhance solution messaging and positioning in the market.
  • Internal & Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Work closely with delivery, technical, and product teams to ensure accurate pipeline tracking and reporting using CRM tools.
    • Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders to facilitate efficient communication and coordination.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate should possess expertise in cloud security, Zero Trust, IAM, PAM, and SOC operations, along with knowledge of automation and AI-driven threat detection.

Strong business acumen, leadership, and stakeholder management skills are essential for success in this role.

Preferred certifications include AWS Security, SC-900, CISA, CRISC, OSCP, GPEN, and ITIL or PMP for project management.

Experience with SIEM tools like Splunk and QRadar is a plus.

The role requires a strategic mindset, problem-solving skills, and the ability to assess security investments and ROI while aligning cybersecurity solutions with business needs.

Experience:

4+ years in a pre-sales or solution consulting role, preferably in MDR, MSSP, CES, or cybersecurity services.
