Pre Sales Security Consultant Job Summary

This role requires a skilled professional to engage with customers, understand their security needs and provide effective solutions. The ideal candidate will have experience in cybersecurity sales, the ability to present complex information clearly and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Engage with customers to identify and address their security needs through tailored solutions.
  • Develop and deliver presentations and demonstrations of security products and services that meet customer requirements.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to identify opportunities and contribute to deal closure.
  • Conduct thorough security assessments and risk analysis for potential clients.
  • Provide technical expertise during the sales process and respond to requests for proposals.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest security trends and technologies to effectively communicate with clients.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in pre-sales or technical sales support within the cybersecurity domain.
  • A strong understanding of security products including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and endpoint protection.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to adapt to different audiences.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and achieve sales targets.
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM or CEH are highly desirable.
