Proposal Development Specialist

Delivering impactful solutions in the federal contracting space requires a skilled professional who can craft compelling proposals that drive success. As a Proposal Development Specialist, you will play a critical role in partnering with federal agencies and commercial clients to develop winning proposals that meet their needs.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in US government RFPs and be well-versed in the federal procurement process. You will work collaboratively with capture teams, SMEs, and leadership to produce high-quality proposals that showcase our company's expertise and capabilities.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Review, interpret, and respond to federal RFPs, RFIs, RFQs, and task orders to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Write and edit proposal content that is clear, concise, and persuasive, leveraging our company's strengths and competitive advantages.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather inputs and information necessary for proposal development.
  • Develop and maintain compliance matrices and ensure all submissions meet solicitation requirements.
  • Manage the proposal development lifecycle, including reviews, deadlines, and final submission, ensuring timely delivery and quality.
  • Proofread, format, and standardize documents for consistency and compliance, maintaining attention to detail throughout the process.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience writing proposals for US federal government contracts, with a proven track record of success.
  • Strong understanding of the federal acquisition process (FAR/DFAR) and ability to apply this knowledge to develop compliant proposals.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and organizational skills, with the ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple proposals simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and ability to learn new tools and technologies as needed.
  • US citizenship or work authorization required, with a commitment to upholding our company's values and principles.
