Backend Software Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Backend Software Engineer to join our team.

About the Role
  • This is a senior-level position that requires a strong background in software engineering, with a focus on backend development.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience with Java, as well as other programming languages such as Python, Node.js, and Go.
  • A solid understanding of databases, including MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and similar technologies, is also required.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain large-scale backend applications using Java and other relevant technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements.
  • Ensure high-quality code, following best practices and coding standards.
  • Troubleshoot complex technical issues, and implement effective solutions.
  • Communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in backend development, preferably in a startup or fast-paced environment.
  • Strong proficiency in one or more backend programming languages, such as Java, Python, Node.js, Go, or Ruby.
  • Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
  • Solid understanding of databases, such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or similar.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Experience with version control systems like Git.
