Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to accurately process the company's payroll, including tax calculations and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Process payroll for all employees accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Calculate and deduct appropriate amounts from payroll, including taxes, benefits, and other deductions.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local tax regulations.
  • Prepare and distribute payroll reports to management as needed.
  • Address any payroll-related queries or concerns from employees.
  • Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure payroll compliance.
  • Collaborate with the HR department to ensure accurate employee data and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Assist in the implementation and maintenance of payroll software and systems.
  • Generate and maintain accurate payroll records and reports.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Payroll Specialist or similar role.
  • In-depth knowledge of payroll processes, tax calculations, and relevant legislation.
  • Familiarity with payroll software and MS Excel.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Certification in payroll processing or related field is a plus.
