This is a key role for an experienced professional seeking to leverage their skills in strategic leadership and business growth.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop a deep understanding of digital platforms and systems to drive business optimization.
- Establish expertise as the principal insurance domain specialist, with a thorough grasp of the business and nuances of each UK Specialty.
- Gain a comprehensive understanding of digital placement data and its interaction with the larger data ecosystem.
- Design and implement consolidated views using disparate data sources and placement data that includes Coverages, Exposures, Losses and trading data to provide actionable insights.
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics or Engineering discipline.
- 10-12 years of experience in Business Intelligence and reporting – should have worked on Enterprise-wide reporting systems and built dashboards and reports from scratch.
- 2-3 years of team management experience handling a minimum team size of 2-3 analysts.
- Data engineering and data transformation skills – SQL or Oracle.
- Data visualization skills – Power BI is essential, Tableau or Qlik would be beneficial.
- Apply knowledge management principles and techniques to institutionalize business and domain knowledge.
- Provide day-to-day coaching and mentoring to enhance team members' domain knowledge and business understanding.
