We are currently seeking an experienced Civil & Structural WTG Foundation Design Expert to join our engineering design office. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and optimizing wind turbine generator foundations to ensure safety, reliability, and compliance with international standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and optimize WTG foundations (gravity-based, spread footing, piled, rock-anchored, shallow mat, ribbed beam, etc.) using advanced structural analysis techniques and software tools.
  • Perform detailed structural load and stress calculations to verify the foundation's ability to withstand various environmental loads, including gravity, wind, seismic, and fatigue effects.
  • Select and validate construction materials for efficiency and sustainability, taking into account factors such as cost, availability, and environmental impact.
  • Prepare and review design basis reports, bill of quantities (BOQs), drawings, and calculations to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Evaluate and ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards, including international building codes and industry-specific regulations.
  • Collaborate closely with geotechnical, hydrology, balance of plant (BoP), electrical, and control systems (CTS) teams to ensure seamless integration and effective project delivery.
  • Support certification processes with external agencies and stakeholders to obtain necessary approvals and permits.
  • Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies to minimize threats to project success and ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Structural specialization) or Master's in Structural or Civil Engineering (preferred).
  • A minimum of 8-12 years of experience in the Power & Utilities sector, with a focus on renewable energy foundations.
  • Advanced technical skills in software applications such as STAAD Pro, SAP2000, RFEM/RSTAB, SAFE, ETABS, and PLAXIS 2D/3D.
  • In-depth knowledge of WTG foundation design, geotechnical risk assessment, hydrology, seismic analysis, and civil design codes.
