Accountant Role

We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team.

  • Responsibilities:
  1. Perform month end close activities in accordance with US GAAP standards;
  2. Ensure compliance of corporate policies and processes;
  3. Prepare monthly/quarterly/yearly Profit and Loss (PL) and Balance Sheet reconciliation;
  4. Assist in resolving ad-hoc queries as and when raised by internal stakeholders;
  5. Review the Fixed Asset Register and reconcile it with the books on a monthly basis;
  6. Assist other team members by providing inputs on processes;
  7. Coordinate with auditors for timely closure of audits;

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2-4 years of experience in MIS/Statutory Reporting;
  • Preferred experience in a technology company, particularly with subscription or SaaS business;
  • Proven experience in MNC environment and knowledge of Finance and Accounting in other markets. MIS and Financial reporting;
  • Experience managing the month end close process with a close cycle of 4 business days or less;
  • Knowledge/experience in Accounting Standards: U.S. GAAP or IGAAP;
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel features and functionalities;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
