Merchandising Business Development Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Merchandising Business Development Manager to join our team. This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned professional with a passion for building strong relationships and driving revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Relationship Management:
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with buying houses representatives and international clients, ensuring seamless communication and successful partnerships.
  • Act as the primary liaison between clients and internal teams, ensuring requirements are clearly understood and executed efficiently.
  • Product Development & Merchandising:
  • Collaborate closely with design and production teams to create high-quality jewellery collections that meet client preferences and market trends.
  • Oversee product sampling, approvals, and final production to ensure timely delivery and meet quality expectations.
  • Market Research & Strategy:
  • Conduct in-depth market research to understand global trends, client demands, and competitive landscapes.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to target potential clients and expand the business through strategic partnerships and sales initiatives.
  • Order Management:
  • Manage the end-to-end order lifecycle, from initial client inquiry to final delivery, ensuring timely and accurate communication with clients regarding order status, pricing, and timelines.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and increase efficiency, resulting in enhanced customer satisfaction and revenue growth.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Fashion, or related fields (Master's preferred).
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in merchandising with a strong background in buying houses, preferably in the jewellery industry.
  • Proven track record in managing international clients and driving revenue growth through strategic partnerships and sales initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of jewellery manufacturing and global market trends.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
