Job Role:

A fashion merchandiser is a key role in the fashion industry, responsible for managing relationships with designers and multi-designer stores.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Nurture existing designer and multi-designer store relationships to drive business growth.
  • Coordinate merchandise flow, product selection, and seasonal placements to optimize sales.
  • Ensure timely deliveries, product visibility, and brand positioning across partner stores.

Business Development & Brand Growth:

  • Develop and implement merchandising strategies to drive sales growth for existing brands.
  • Analyze performance data to provide actionable insights and maximize sell-through.
  • Support marketing and promotional activities to strengthen brand awareness.

Onboarding & Partnerships:

  • Identify and onboard new designers that align with the company's vision and goals.
  • Negotiate commercial terms and agreements with new and existing partners to secure mutually beneficial collaborations.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in fashion merchandising, with a strong network and relationships within the industry.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills to build and maintain relationships.
  • Strong analytical ability and a keen eye for fashion trends to inform business decisions.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently in a dynamic environment.
