Senior Quality Assurance Specialist

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Senior Quality Assurance Specialist. As a key member of our quality department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will have a strong background in inspection, testing, and quality assurance for castings and metal components. You will be responsible for coordinating with third-party inspection agencies, ensuring compliance with quality assurance plans (QAP), and conducting a variety of internal and external quality tests.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Inspection (Internal & Third-Party):
    • Visual Inspection
    • Dimensional Inspection
    • Hydrostatic Pressure Testing
    • Liquid Penetrant Testing (LPT)
    • Ultrasonic Testing (UT)
    • Radiographic Testing (RT)
  • Documentation & Reporting:
    • Preparation and review of inspection reports (internal and third-party)
  • Coordination & Communication:
    • Liaising with third-party inspection agencies and on-site inspectors
    • Ensuring smooth execution of inspections as per schedule and client requirements
  • Quality Assurance Plans (QAP):
    • Thorough understanding and execution of QAPs based on specific customer standards and project requirements
  • Internal Testing & Lab Analysis:
    • Daily production testing and inspection in presence of Third-Party Inspectors
    • Chemical analysis using Spectrometer (Spectro Analysis)
    • Mechanical testing: Tensile & Hardness Testing
  • Technical Collaboration:
    • Technical coordination with NABL-accredited laboratories
    • Ensuring adherence to national/international testing standards
  • Heat Treatment Process:
    • Supervision and quality checks during heat treatment of castings
  • Measuring Instruments & Calibration:
    • Proficient in handling, usage, and calibration of precision measuring tools and gauges
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in a relevant field (e.g., mechanical engineering, materials science)
  • Proven experience in quality assurance and inspection
  • Strong knowledge of quality assurance principles and practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
