Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) Specialist to ensure the reliability, safety, and compliance of critical components and systems.

This role involves overseeing quality processes across design, manufacturing, assembly, integration, and testing phases of complex systems such as avionics, power & control systems, and payloads.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Develop and implement quality plans, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with industry requirements.
    • Participate in design reviews to ensure quality requirements are embedded.
    • Conduct audits and process evaluations across vendors and internal teams to ensure adherence to quality standards.
    • Ensure traceability and configuration control of components and documentation to maintain version control.
    • Support risk management and failure mode analysis to identify potential issues.
  • Quality Control:
    • Perform inspection and testing of incoming components, in-process assemblies, and final products to ensure compliance with specifications.
    • Monitor and verify compliance with acceptance test procedures, product identification, and data transfer records.
    • Coordinate environmental testing and review results to ensure system performance.
    • Investigate non-conformances and lead root cause analysis and corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
    • Maintain calibration and certification records of test equipment to ensure accuracy.

The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of QA/QC principles, experience with complex systems, and knowledge of industry standards like ECSS, ISRO-PAS, and MIL-STD.

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering is required. 2-3 years of experience in QA/QC roles, preferably in aerospace or space systems, is preferred. Familiarity with Six Sigma, AS9100, or ISO 9001 is a plus.
