Responsible for designing company products or systems from technical roadmaps to architectural designs. Defines platforms and system specifications, determining core server infrastructure, capacity planning, storage requirements, and networking protocols. Develops technical plans, systems definition, and feasibility determination.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define the overall architecture, external interfaces, and detailed functional description of the solution.
  • Perform technical evaluations of major system enhancements and new customer requirements.
  • Create detailed system level functional requirements and specifications.
  • Monitor standards body activities and influence industry innovation.
  • Identify opportunities for market disruption.
  • Support product management, pre-sales, and marketing activities.
  • Provide system level technical support in customer meetings.

Required Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of mobile networks, especially 5G Policy Control Function (PCF) and related SBI interfaces.
  • Sound understanding of Policy Control and Charging (PCC) architecture and Traffic Detection Function (TDF).
  • Good understanding of IMS, VoLTE, and VoWi-Fi technologies.
  • Sound knowledge of Diameter and Radius protocol.
  • Knowledge of essential elements of Systems engineering.

Qualifications:

  • BS Degree in EE or CS; MS Degree is highly desirable.
  • At least 12+ years experience in telecommunication industry in systems engineering roles.
