Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled ICT and Telecommunications Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing cutting-edge technology solutions for various clients across different sectors.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in leading, producing and checking ICT and Telecommunications designs, with a strong understanding of network design principles and significant experience working within critical environments.

Duties will include developing and publishing telecommunications designs, undertaking detailed designs relating to ICT and Telecommunications systems, and preparing reports, specifications, calculations, and drawings to enable the tendering of works.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement Telecommunications Networks (FTN and FTNx)
  • Develop Structured Cabling Systems (Fibre and Copper)
  • Create Active Network Designs (Cisco, Aruba, Dell, etc)
  • Design Server (Compute) and SAN (Storage) solutions
  • Implement Firewalls and network protection systems
  • Model Radio systems
  • Deploy Multiprotocol Label Switching Networks (MPLS)
  • Integrate Internet Protocol Closed Circuit Television (IP-CCTV) Systems
  • Install EN54 Public Address and Voice Alarm Systems
  • Implement Integrated Station / Building Management Systems (ISMS, IBMS)
  • Develop Customer Information Systems (CIS)
  • Deploy IP based Access Control Systems
  • Design Multi-mode Intruder Detection Systems
  • Design Wireless Network Architecture
  • Implement Voice Over Internet Protocol (VOIP) including Video Intercom Systems, Passenger Help Points, BMS (Building Management System), Telephony, and Long Term Evolution (LTE Radio) propagation modelling, base station configuration, bandwidth management.
