Job Summary: As a Senior Telecommunication Design Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing various types of facilities including commercial, institutional, industrial, residential, office buildings and similar facilities, as well as infrastructure projects. You will work closely with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to optimize project designs and resolve technical issues.

Responsibilities:

\
  • Design reliable telecommunication systems, including data network systems, local area networks, wireless data networks, structured cabling networks, voice communication systems, electronic visual information systems, fire alarm systems, public address systems, intercom systems, master clock systems, video surveillance systems, and access control systems.\
  • Collaborate with project teams to develop parametric models and computational workflows using scripting languages such as Grasshopper/Rhino, Dynamo/Revit, Python, or similar tools to automate repetitive tasks, streamline workflows, and facilitate design iteration.\
  • Develop and implement design solutions that meet the needs of clients and stakeholders, while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.\
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to colleagues and project teams on telecommunication design principles, construction techniques, and building systems.\
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry developments, trends, and technologies, and apply this knowledge to improve design processes and outcomes.\
  • Contribute to the development of company-wide design standards and guidelines, and participate in design reviews and critiques.

Qualifications:

\
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Telecommunication or Electronics Engineering.\
  • Proven experience as a telecommunication designer (5-15 years).\
  • Strong understanding of design principles, construction techniques, and building systems.\
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.\
  • Creative thinking and a passion for pushing the boundaries of design through computational innovation.\
  • Knowledge of scripting languages such as Grasshopper/Rhino, Dynamo/Revit, Python, or similar tools to automate repetitive tasks, streamline workflows, and facilitate design iteration.\
  • Proven experience in computational design, parametric modeling, and scripting languages is desirable but not mandatory.\
  • Knowledge of design software like AutoCAD, Revit, etc.
