Senior Telecommunication Systems Engineer

As a senior telecommunication systems engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing complete system engineering solutions. Your primary focus will be on delivering high-quality technical support to projects, leading the preparation, review, and validation of telecom subsystem documents.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and verifying system engineering solutions
  • Leading the development of telecom subsystem documents
  • Collaborating with CADD engineers to prepare drawings and diagrams
  • Reviewing and validating designs and drawings
  • Ensuring technical compliance with contract specifications
  • Maintaining and updating detailed bills of material
  • Responding to technical queries and comments from clients
  • Coordinating with system suppliers
  • Leading systems commissioning, testing, and integration at site
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering or related field
  • Minimum 6-8 years' experience in metro railway telecommunication systems and systems integration engineering
  • Knowledge of gigabit ethernet, SDH, PAS & PIDS, telephone, radio, CCTV, clock, CDRS, and telecom SCADA
  • Experience in systems commissioning, testing, and fault troubleshooting
