Procurement Leadership Role

We are seeking an experienced procurement professional to lead our team in developing and executing sourcing strategies that drive cost-efficiency, quality, and uninterrupted production.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies for key spend categories, including raw materials, solvents, catalysts, packaging, and engineering supplies.
  • Monitor global and domestic chemical markets to anticipate pricing trends and availability.
  • Lead negotiations and manage long-term agreements with suppliers.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines in procurement contracts.
  • Drive cost reduction initiatives through strategic sourcing, vendor consolidation, and process improvements.
  • Prepare and monitor procurement budgets.
  • Collaborate with production and planning teams to maintain optimum stock levels while minimising working capital.
  • Ensure timely availability of materials to avoid production disruptions.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing procurement team.
  • Implement digitalization and automation of procurement processes using ERP systems.
  • Identify risks in the supply chain and implement contingency plans.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in strategic sourcing and procurement within the chemical or manufacturing industry.
  • Familiarity with global sourcing, customs regulations, and import/export documentation.
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office.
