Procurement Manager Job Overview

As a seasoned procurement professional, you will be responsible for leading end-to-end sourcing projects with a focus on value, speed, compliance, and risk management.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and negotiate with suppliers.
  • Ensure compliance with controls, audits, and regulatory obligations across sourcing cycles.
  • Manage contract remediation including data privacy, OCIR, and country-specific terms.
  • Negotiate and oversee third-party supplier control obligations and support stakeholders with vendor engagement risks.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and buying channel optimization.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and sourcing best practices to strengthen category management.
Key Requirements:
  • 8+ years of experience in sourcing/procurement, preferably in technology procurement within financial services.
  • Strong expertise in RFPs, contract negotiations, vendor management, and compliance.
  • Proven experience in contractual review and redlining.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across divisions.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and data-driven decision-making skills.
  • Leadership qualities to set objectives, coach teams, and drive operational effectiveness.
Desirable Skills:
  • Background in operational/core sourcing teams in technology.
  • Regulatory remediation experience (data privacy, OCIR, etc.).
  • Familiarity with industry frameworks and governance practices.
