About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Merchandiser to manage end-to-end leather product process from design to delivery, ensuring timely and cost-effective production while maintaining quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Order Execution: Manage orders from initial inquiries to final shipment, ensuring efficient and timely execution.
  • Sourcing and Procurement: Identify and procure materials, components, and accessories, optimizing costs and lead times.
  • Production Coordination: Collaborate with production teams to ensure smooth and timely production, highlighting any issues or areas for improvement.
  • Communication and Negotiation: Maintain effective communication with buyers, suppliers, and internal teams, negotiating prices and quantities to meet business needs.
  • Documentation and Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of orders, materials, production processes, and shipping details, ensuring transparency and compliance.
  • Product Development: Assist in product development, including material sourcing, costing, and sampling, driving innovation and growth.
  • Inventory Management: Optimize inventory levels, minimize waste, and improve stock turnover, ensuring a competitive edge.
  • Sales Forecasting: Develop merchandise plans, including sales forecasting and budget planning, informing business decisions and strategy.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in the same field, with a proven track record of success.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify problems, develop solutions, and implement changes.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to negotiate and build relationships.
  • Organization and Time Management: Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work, and meet deadlines.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in relevant software, such as ERP systems, and an understanding of leather manufacturing processes.
  • Knowledge of the Leather Industry: Familiarity with different types of leather, manufacturing processes, and industry best practices.
