Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Furniture Product Designer to join our team.

  • The ideal candidate will have a design graduate degree from a reputable institution with a focus on furniture or product accessory designs.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing experience in home decor, furniture, and craft clusters will be a significant advantage.
  • Familiarity with various materials such as wood, metal, terracotta, fabric, leather, and bamboo is essential.
  • Proven experience in production coordination, factory management, and vendor relationships will also be considered.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with designers, corporates, clients, and craftsmen are necessary.
  • Proficiency in software tools like Rhino, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, AutoCAD/3D Max, and InDesign is highly desirable.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop high-quality furniture products that meet market standards.
  • Stay up-to-date with market trends and consumer preferences.
  • Create 3D models and product renders using relevant software tools.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of products.
  • Manage production schedules, processes, and vendor relationships effectively.
  • Ensure the highest quality standards in all aspects of product development and production.

Requirements:

  • Design Graduate Degree from NIFT/NID or equivalent.
  • Hands-on experience in design and development, specifically in home decor, furniture, and craft clusters.
  • Proficiency in working with various materials.
  • Experience in production coordination, factory management, and vendor relationships.
  • Excellent communication and persuasion skills.
  • Strong technical skills, including proficiency in relevant software tools.
