US Business Tax Manager Job Description

Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of US Business Tax Manager. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing tax planning advice to clients, preparing and signing tax returns, and conducting comprehensive tax research and analysis.

Responsibilities:

Tax Compliance
  • Prepare and sign tax returns for partnerships, corporations, and other entities.
  • Stay updated on the latest tax laws and regulations.
  • Conduct comprehensive tax research and analysis.
Tax Planning and Advisory
  • Provide tax planning advice to clients identifying opportunities for tax optimization and cost-saving strategies.
  • Offer guidance on tax-efficient business structures, deductions, and credits.
Bookkeeping and Financial Reporting
  • Assist clients with bookkeeping tasks ensuring accurate recording of financial transactions.
  • Generate financial statements balance sheets and income statements using QuickBooks Online and Wave.
  • Perform periodic financial analysis and provide insights to clients.
Project Delivery and Client Communication
  • Deliver tax returns and other projects to clients handle all their inquiries independently.
  • Establish strong relationships with clients addressing their concerns and providing exceptional customer service.
Process Development and SOPs
  • Develop and implement efficient processes and standard operating procedures for firm operations.
  • Streamline workflow and identify areas for improvement to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Mentoring and Training
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior employees assisting in their professional development.
  • Conduct training sessions on tax regulations software tools and best practices.
  • Review the work of junior team members and provide constructive feedback.
