Job Title: Indirect Tax Expert

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our indirect tax practice.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Tax Strategy Development & Business Origination: Develop and execute strategies to drive revenue growth and originate new business opportunities.
  2. Practice Leadership & Strategic Growth: Provide leadership and direction to the indirect tax practice, focusing on strategic growth and development.
  3. Client Advisory & Regulatory Compliance: Offer expert advice and advocacy to clients on indirect tax matters, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  4. Litigation Strategy & Dispute Resolution: Develop and implement litigation strategies to resolve disputes and protect client interests.
  5. Knowledge Capital & Thought Leadership: Create and share knowledge capital through thought leadership initiatives, contributing to the firm's reputation as a leading advisory firm.
  6. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Integrated Solutions: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions that meet clients' needs.

Key Requirements & Qualifications:

  1. Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory; additional qualifications such as LLB or MBA (Finance/Taxation) are preferred.
  2. At least 15 years of experience in indirect tax (GST, Customs, Excise), with 5+ years in a leadership/Partner/Director role in a top-tier consulting firm.
  3. Proven expertise in GST legislation, litigation, and strategic tax advisory across industries.
  4. Strong experience in business development and revenue origination.
