Job Title: Residential Services Director

Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced leader to join our team as an Assistant Director for Residential Services. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our residential services, including staff supervision, administrative tasks, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with management staff to deliver administrative support services to the university community.
  • Draft and distribute statistical reports, analyses, and exhibits to management and regulatory agencies as required.
  • Develop, evaluate, and maintain the management information system (MIS).
  • Maintain the organization's administrative policies and procedures manual.
  • Ensure compliance with health, building, zoning, and safety licensing and certification requirements.
  • Serve as a member of the organization's key administrative decision-making and planning body.
  • Collaborate with other management staff to develop an annual administrative budget.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Thorough understanding of office equipment, recordkeeping systems, management information systems, and related protocols used in the university.
  • Professional and tactful interpersonal skills to interact with various personalities.
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Extremely proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Experience:

  • Suitable candidates must be retired from Defense Services.
