Job Description

As a Financial Leadership professional, you will be responsible for defining the company's liquidity strategy and its composition. This includes cash management, bank facilities, and other financial instruments.

You will also oversee the company's gross debt portfolio with banks and other financial institutions, various funds, bonds, or debentures, and maintain excellent relationships with key stakeholders.

  • Develop fund raising plans and strategies for short-term, mid-term, and long-term periods in accordance with business plans for each business vertical.
  • Lead structured finance fund raise (Securitization/Direct Assignment) transactions from lead generation to execution and post-transaction compliance.
  • Prepare financial modeling based on historical and projected financial data of each business for fund raising and continuity of debts/funds credit facilities with various lenders.
  • Raise funds from various financial institutions at minimum cost of funds with available primary and collateral security for each project and business.
  • Work closely with senior executives for financial mid-term and long-term goals/project planning for funds requirements.
  • Develop multi-banking facilities to mitigate mid-term and long-term cash flow risks.
  • Minimize cost of funds and borrowings.
  • Strengthen and scale up relationships with existing lenders.
  • Ensure all monthly, quarterly, and yearly or time-bound banking compliances for each credit facility.
  • Build relationships with new/proposed lenders and onboard new funding products/lenders.
  • Create, monitor, and manage all documentation and presentation materials required for debt capital.
  • Lead due diligence exercises for transactions, requiring coordination with internal teams.
  • Understand the banking environment, treasury products, regulatory, and liquidity reporting.
  • Knowledge of drivers of liquidity and changing regulatory scenarios and requirements.
  • Background in managing transitions and building strong business relationships in a changing environment.
  • Understanding of financial business and products is an advantage.
  • Strong communication skills, articulating issues clearly to senior management and stakeholders.
