Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned finance professional to join our team as Chief Financial Strategist. In this role, you will play a key part in defining the finance charter and strengthening the governance framework.

The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of overall experience and 4 years in finance controllership/tax function. Strong Excel modeling skills and hands-on expertise on ERP Systems are also required.

About the Role:

  • Lead the Corporate Finance function for India, responsible for external and internal reporting of financial information
  • Manage monthly close, audits, and procurement process
  • Develop strong familiarity with US GAAP/ IFRS based financial standards
  • Manage Treasury, payment gateway, and Banking relationships
  • Expertise in Financial Models, AOP, and ability to model complex business scenarios
  • Understanding of unit-level metrics
  • Familiarity with US and India taxes to ensure compliance and filings

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and implement financial planning and analysis strategies to drive business growth and improve profitability.
  2. Budgeting and Forecasting: Manage budgeting and forecasting processes to ensure accurate financial projections and informed decision-making.
  3. Treasury and Risk Management: Oversee treasury and risk management functions to minimize financial risks and maximize returns.
  4. Audit and Compliance: Ensure timely and accurate completion of audits and compliance requirements to maintain regulatory adherence.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Chartered Accountant with 6+ years of overall experience and 4 years in finance controllership/tax function
  • Strong Excel modeling skills
  • Hands-on expertise on ERP Systems, process implementation, and familiarity with technical accounting standards
  • Clear understanding of Financial Planning, Financial Management, Budgeting, Forecasting, Compliances, Business Growth Strategy
