Operations Director Job Description

As an Operations Director, you will play a pivotal role in driving customer satisfaction and ensuring the timely completion of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Move In Timeline Adherence
  • Customer Overall CSAT Score
  • Quicker resolution of customer escalations

In this role, you will be responsible for managing internal stakeholders like Finance, Vendor, and Installer teams to ensure they receive the required support to meet customer-promised timelines and quality standards.

Additionally, you will own the customer experience post project booking until handover, acting as the highest point of escalation for your region, resolving customer issues within committed ETAs and completing projects on a good note.

You will continuously coordinate with cross-functional teams like installer, vendor, category, and product teams to enable faster issue resolution for your team members to solve problems on ground.

Empowering your existing team, hiring top talents, and ensuring everyone adheres to defined process SOPs and standards to provide a standardized customer experience are also key responsibilities.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operations management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.

A minimum of 7-12 years of work experience in Startups or Operations in similar industries is required, along with people management skills (direct team reporting in past roles is a must).

Preferred qualifications include NIT/BITS/IIT/MBA from IIM/Tier 1 B-schools.
